Gulfeagle Supply Acquires Quality Building Supply In Chicago, Illinois

[TAMPA, Fla., December 2, 2021] Gulfeagle Supply announces acquisition of Quality Building Supply, resulting in two additional Chicago locations. Gulfeagle Supply, founded in 1973, is a full line distributor of residential and commercial roofing and building products. The company has grown to over 85 locations across the United States.

Quality Building Supply was founded over 65 years ago, and in the early 1990’s was acquired by Walter Piton. Piton grew the business from one location in Chicago to a second location in Elgin, a suburb of Chicago, in 2019 by providing superior customer service and by building relationships, which align with Gulfeagle Supply’s core values. Piton and team will continue to manage both locations now as part of the Gulfeagle team.

The acquisition expands Gulfeagle’s Chicago presence to three branches across the Chicago metropolitan area to better serve the contractor in Itasca, Chicago and Elgin. The additional branches will fall under the leadership of Jim Barnish, Vice President of Operations District 1B.

Gulfeagle Supply Launches New Website

[TAMPA, Fla., November 19, 2021] America’s premier roofing and building product distributor, Gulfeagle Supply, is proud to launch a new website.  Designed to provide a better user experience, the easy-to-navigate website features a branch locator, contractor corner and more.

“It’s an exciting time for Gulfeagle Supply as we refresh our original website,” said Gulfeagle President Brad Resch. “We’re a world-class distributor and now have an online presence to match.”

The new website is part of a larger marketing initiative, which included a new logo that launched earlier this year. The next phase includes technology to help the contractor stay connected to Gulfeagle Supply on the road.

Gulfeagle Supply Opens New Texas Location

[TAMPA, Fla., October 19, 2021] Gulfeagle Supply adds an additional Texas location in South Houston to its national portfolio. Gulfeagle Supply, founded in 1973, is a full line distributor of residential and commercial roofing and building products. The company has grown to over 80 locations across the United States.

The South Houston branch, conveniently located just south of Pearland, will be managed by Carlos Hernandez. Hernandez joins Gulfeagle Supply with over 30 years of experience in the roofing distribution industry. Hernandez is excited to take on the task of expanding Gulfeagle’s presence in Texas.

Grand opening celebrations will be scheduled for the spring along with our first customer motorcycle ride.
